I am going to be comparing my improvements and difficulties in both football and tennis. I shall be explaining the parts in the session which I found challenging and the easier parts in the session which I found easier. Now I shall be explaining how I liked and disliked some of the practical sessions, I believe I have improved in both areas of the sports, in football I believe I have improved significantly in mastering the cryuff turn and the part I found most challenging in football was the defending as it is my main weakness I believe in football. In tennis I believe I improved dramatically as I very rarely play tennis on a regular basis so there is more chance of a big improvement than in football. I believe I was ok at forearm before we did our sessions but I worked mostly on backhand and serving and I believe I improved very much over the last few session, my area to work on is most definitely backhand and serving still even though I have improved very much.
In conclusion I believe I have significantly improved in tennis and improved in football but not as much as tennis

Critically Analyzing Tennis and Football
I now shall be critically analyzing all the sessions, my strengths throughout the tennis practical sessions was definitely forearm shots because forearm shots usually come natural to me compared to backhanded shots. Also the movement and agility were my strengths in tennis as I am very sporty and do a lot of fitness and sport. My strengths in football was the first touch and mainly all the exercise I was pretty familiar with and confident with.
My areas to be worked on in tennis are my backhanded shots because they do not come natural to me at all, the serving because I am not very confident with my serving ability because placing both accuracy and power into a shot I find very hard to execute. My areas to be improved in football are my ability to work with others not as good or as far ahead as football as I believe I am.

Session 2 Tennis
In session 2 of tennis we started light jogging around the court several times before Nichola came out, after the warm up we each got a tennis racket and tennis ball and concentrated on keeping the ball up in the air, this made sure we used hand and eye co-ordination and gave each player a good feel of the ball and racket and footwork was very important for balance and this lasted for a duration of 5 minutes.
After the first part of the session we went onto a game called round the world, this game in detail was all 10 players were split into two groups of 5 and 5 players at either side of the court. The aim of the game was just to return the ball into the opposing court and if you missed one of your life’s would go and you had 3 lives before the game started to try and stay in all the way until someone else lost all their lives. To lose a life you would not hit it into the designated opponent’s area. This game made you use a lot of technique to handle the racket and hit it in the centre of the racket and you needed positioning for this and this is a very important technique in tennisafter this we focused on backhanded shots I believe this is a weaknesses for me compared to forearm so I consider it is important to work on my weaknesses so it is essential to work on backhand for myself. At start we each got a racket and a ball and kept the ball in the air but only using backhanded shots and this gave us 5 minutes to warm up our backhand. After this we did another “around the world” only using backhanded shots I found this more difficult as I am more familiar with forearm shots.
After this we went straight into a serving drill where we each had a partner and went on a court between the two and served shots to each other I found this pretty hard to achieve hitting it perfect into the box with power and accuracy overall I believe I improved in serving.
